Bloodlines – Solid international blood lines on the Sire’s side. Eros is a large dog with a heavy bone structure. Strong American field bloodlines on the Dam’s side (see Bella on this page). Several Field Champions and Amateur Field Champions. Two Duel Champions.
Physical Appearance – Liver and white with a solid liver head, heavy ticking, and a large liver patch on one side. Turbo is “put together”. Stocky but all muscle. Very good agility, quickness, and speed for his size.
Hunting – Just a rock solid hunting dog. Solid prey drive and works a nice pattern in the field. Hunts at a short to medium range. Hunts with confidence and has the best nose of all my dogs and is a natural retriever. Our long term training goals for Turbo include NAVHDA Utility Testing, AKC Senior Hunter Testing, and AKC Master Hunter Testing.
Companionship – Turbo is an absolute joy to be around. He has a very easy going temperament. He loves people and loves to play with our other dogs. He is crate trained, house trained, heel trained, etc. Overall, Turbo is pretty happy go lucky and seems to have a good time all the time. Nothing seem to bother him.
Training Status – Basic obedience training in progress.
Current Training Focus – Obedience and AKC Junior Hunting Skills.

AKC Junior Hunt Testing – November 2024
AKC Senior Hunt Testing – Spring 2025
AKC Master Hunt Testing – Spring 2026
Bloodlines – Solid international blood lines on the Sire’s side. Twist Del Cakic, is imported from Serbia and a decorated international working champion in Italy and Serbia. Strong American field bloodlines on the Dam’s side (see Bella on this page). Several Field Champions and Amateur Field Champions. Two Duel Champions.
Physical appearance – Very nice looking pup. Very confident gate and walks/runs with a high head and a high tail. Very athletic. Strong and agile.
Hunting – Strong tracker in the field. Has been introduced to birds and shotgun fire. He has 3 junior hunt brace passes from this past testing season. Very strong bird drive and a staunch pointer. Can be a bit of a big runner at times but we will reel that in with training. Nitro will likely require a force fetch to fully condition his retrieve but overall should make a very nice hunting dog as he matures.
Companionship – Nitro is very friendly and doesn’t seem to get “rattled” by too much. He loves to play with our other dogs. He was a quick learner with regard to clicker training for the “kennel”, “here”, and “whoa” commands. Crated trained and potty trained fairly

AKC Junior Hunt Testing – Fall 2024
AKC Senior Hunt Testing – TBD
Bloodlines – Bella has a pretty solid pedigree that represents a field/hunting heritage. There are a number of Field Champions, Amateur Field Champions, titled Master Hunters and two Dual Champions (Odyssey’s Perfection and Sam Saint Max).
Physical Appearance – Bella is a beautiful dog. She is fairly large for a female but very fast and agile. All listed above, she has completed all of her health clearance requirements with passing results. Her tail was docked a little shorter than we prefer but still enough there to produce a nice looking point.
Hunting – Eagle Ranch Kennels acquired Bella in July 2023 and while we know a little bit about her breeding history, we are assuming she has not had a lot of field work. Therefore, we are treating her hunt training as if she were a puppy. Here is what we know – she works the field with her nose, she points and holds, she chases on flush, and is not bothered by starter pistol gunfire. She has not shown too much in the way of retrieving so far but we will train her to do that. Overall, she is getting a late start but we feel optimistic that she can become a solid hunter.
Companionship – Bella has been a kennel dog her whole life but in a matter of a couple of months we have been able to crate train and house train her so she can come in the house on a rotation to socialize with us and some of our other dogs. Bella is generally friendly and gets along with everyone. She can be a little anxious with new things but her confidence has grown exponentially since becoming a part of our family.

AKC Junior Hunt Testing – Fall 2024
AKC Senior Hunt Testing – Fall 2025
AKC Master Hunt Testing – Fall 2026
Bloodlines – Vonnie has very strong hunting and field trial bloodlines. She has hall of fame GSP’s in her pedigree (Rusty’s Blue Earth Rexx, Dixieland’s Rusty, etc). Both parents – Muddy Creek King Louie and Muddy Creek Phoenix are polished bird dogs.
Physical Appearance – Vonnie is short and stocky. Very muscular and athletic. More patching than ticking and has a solid live head. Very healthy coat. Vonnie is not going to be very big but overall a great looking bird dog.
Hunting – Vonnie is close to being a finished hunting gun dog. She is a bird finder with a super nose. Points with great style and holds until flush. She has a great hunting pace and can cover a field quickly while still hunting close. Pretty consistent retriever. Just a solid gun dog that is all business in the field. With additional training we expect her to quickly advance in the skills it will take to title as a Master Hunter.
Companionship – Vonnie is a very sweet dog. She has a relatively calm demeanor in the house and has not yet met a lap she didn’t like. She gets along pretty well with our other animals as well. She loves being with people and is a good car rider. We do think she has a touch of separation anxiety as she will chew on things if left alone. However, as with our other dogs, we have crate trained her and that has resolved any issues with that.
Training Status – Advanced Steadiness and Retreiving
Current Training Focus – AKC Senior Hunt Test Preparation. Tracking/blood trailing deer.

AKC senior hunt testing – Winter 2025
Bloodlines – Solid international blood lines. The Sire,Twist Del Cakic, is imported from Serbia and a decorated international working champion in Italy and Serbia. The also has international champions throughout.
Physical Appearance – If Erk were a football player he would be a middle linebacker. Pure athlete. He is strong, quick, and agile. He is surprisingly fast for his size as well.
Hunting – Erk is a medium range hunter with solid drive and a very staunch point. Handles really well. He is very close to being a complete/finished hunting dog. He just needs a little more work on his steadiness, his retrieves, and to firm up his honoring skills (which we are addressing now).
Companionship – Erk has a good off switch. We do not have him in the house too often but when we do, he owns the sofa (too big to be a lap dog). Good with kids, good with other dogs. Not so good with cats. However, overall, a solid temperament.
Training Status – Obedience, Advanced Steadiness, Force Fetch

AKC Senior Hunt Testing – Spring 2025
Bloodlines – Solid international blood lines. Her sire comes from some of the oldest German lines – Hege-Haus.
Physical Appearance – We absolutely love Stormy’s color scheme. Size wise, she is the largest of our females and could pass as a male if you weren’t looking.
Hunting – Stormy is developing into a very solid medium range hunter. She handles very well. She is not overly fast but she keeps a very steady pace. She has good bird drive, a solid point, and loves to retrieve. She also backs/honors naturally.
Companionship – Stormy is likely the sweetest dog out of all of our dogs. She loves people. She loves to be next to you and to be petted. Stormy’s more an off switch dog that has to turn on when it’s time to hunt whereas most of our other dogs are on switch dogs that have to be turned off. We absolutely love Stormy and look forward to many years hunting as well as the possibility of having her in our breeding program.

Bloodlines – Husker comes from some of the best versatile hunting lines in the business. Top to bottom and on both sides of the pedigree she is loaded with champions in her gene pool.
Physical Appearance – Husker is a beautiful liver and white (mostly white) pup. Very easy to see in the field. She was the runt of the litter and will be a little smaller as an adult but has a very athletic build.
Hunting – This young lady is going to do great things. She is a complete natural as a retriever. She hunts at a medium range and naturally works the wind well. She hunts with speed and has a strong, steady point. The best thing I can say to describe Husker in the field is fun! She straight up loves to be in the field and loves to hunt. We cannot wait to see how far she goes.
Companionship – Husker is absolutely as sweet as she can be. Loves everybody and loves all of are other dogs. She has is a very confident dog and holds her own with even the largest of our dogs. Husker also has a good off with when she is in the house. We love having her around.

Bloodlines – Coming Soon
Physical Appearance – Magic is a medium to large sized female. She is tall and lanky. Built for speed and quickness. While her belly has plenty of ticking the rest of her is almost solid black.
Hunting – Even at her young age, Magic is a bit of a second chance bird dog. She was abandoned by her original owner in a rental house, found by the landlord, and after a month of searching, was traced back to the breeder and returned. We agreed to have Magic rehomed to our kennel in May. She is getting a late start on training but her bird drive is off the charts and she points everything. She will need some handling work as she has some range in the field but so far we like what we see. All the natural ability is there. It just needs to be developed.
Companionship – Magic is very friendly with people but it’s a little more of an adventure with other dogs. Males – no issue. Subordinate females – no issue. Other Alpha females – we have to keep them separated. Some of this may have to do with how she was treated and/or socialized by her previous owner by we think with time and training we can correct this. Overall, I consider her temperament as a companion to be good but she she has a lot of spirit so we are going to be patient and see if we can help her settle in.
